It has been confirmed that beloved actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to their iconic characters in the next chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The film is currently in production.

The actors will once again portray Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the roles they originated. It is believed their roles will likely occur in a future-set scene, given that the main film series concluded with their characters living in peace.
